'Roll Up's' Sustainable Bamboo Products
- Roll Up is a Canadian company based in Toronto, Ontario. They have operated since 2020. Their mission is to combat deforestation and offer plastic-free products.
- They sell 100% organic, FSC Certified (Forest Stewardship Council) 3-ply toilet paper, 2-ply toilet paper, paper towel, and facial tissue.
- Manufacturers process bamboo pulp using plant-based, environmentally friendly, cruelty-free (vegan) methods.
- The international organization SMETA evaluates the factory in China annually to ensure ethical, sustainable, and compliant harvesting and production.
- All products are toxin-free: no PFAs, no BPA, no dye, no bleach, and no chemicals.
- Roll Up toilet paper is septic-safe because bamboo fibers break down and dissolve quickly.
- The toilet paper and paper towel rolls are fully compostable.
- Roll Up uses boxes and wrappers made from recycled materials. I always choose to receive my toilet paper rolls “naked,” which means they are not individually wrapped. However, if you prefer wrapped toilet paper, you can reuse the decorative paper for crafts and gift wrapping.
- Their products are hypoallergenic, durable, and soft.
- Roll Up partners with Habitat for Humanity, and they donate a portion of every toilet paper roll sold to the organization.
- They also donate to The Personal Care Bank, a Toronto-based nonprofit that provides essential hygiene products to vulnerable individuals.
