In Canada, the cooler months are fast approaching and that means that my skin is about to get SUPER dry!  

Of course, I have tried many different body creams to attempt to rehydrate my skin over the years.  However, this is the first time I have used a solid body oil that doesn’t slather when I put it on.

Some of the main reasons I wanted to buy this particular product was because it is made from 99.2% natural ingredients and it comes in a plastic-free container that can be recycled.  Moreover, I liked the fact that it is made in Canada.

When I first saw this product, I really liked its attractive container and size.  It is small enough that you can easily carry it in a purse or backpack.  In my opinion, the smell isn’t overpowering and quite pleasant.  At first, I wasn’t used to not having a cream and found the consistency rather greasy.  However, after several applications, I became more accustomed to its texture and now I enjoy putting it on.  

This body oil really hydrates my skin and leaves it feeling very smooth.  Before bed,  I apply it to my hands and legs and they still feel soft well into the next day.  The applicator is easy to use.  All you have to do is push up from the bottom and the product will rise to the surface.  I have found that the body oil in my applicator is loose, so I am extra careful when applying it (so it doesn’t fall out!).  I keep my index finger up the tube while putting on the product, so that the solid body oil doesn’t fall back down the container.  I also ensure not to turn it completely up-side-down so that it doesn’t fall out!  UPDATE: I purchased this product a second time and had no issues with the container.  It no longer feels like the inner contents will fall out 🙂  I will purchase it again in the future.
