I have never tried a mineral sunscreen before and so far I think it is working well (no burns)!  I wanted to try this sunscreen because it is more environmentally friendly and comes in a plastic-free, biodegradable container.  Moreover, it is EWG Verified and Vegan.

It is easy to apply to the body.  All you have to do is gently push the base of the tube and the product will rise to the surface.  Take care not to use too much force because it is hard to get the sunscreen back down the tube!  At first, the sunscreen is white in colour so you can see where it is applied on your skin.  The white colour disappears as you rub it in.

This sunscreen has a really nice scent that lingers for hours. It smells like long summer days!  One benefit is that you can take this sunscreen anywhere without the hassle of it spilling.  It is small enough that you can fit it in a purse or small bag.

It does take longer to apply than spray sunscreens and it feels a bit greasy when applied to the face. However, I find this with most sunscreens (and I have an oilier skin type).  I would advise not to store the tube in a hot location, as the product does tend to slightly melt.  Overall, my family is happy with this product.
