I am happy to announce that I have the third section of my website, The Greener Year, up and running! Woo hoo! In this section, you will find ‘Greener Household/ Beauty Products’ that will help you switch to a healthier, more sustainable, and eco-conscious lifestyle. I want to add this section so that individuals can discover GREENER options that are on the market. I will also try to focus mostly on Canadian Made products! Typically, I will ONLY suggest items that I have personally used and liked. I will give a description of the featured item and provide a short review.

I am thrilled to announce that last week, I became an ambassador for ATTITUDE, which is a CANADIAN COMPANY that is based outside of Montreal, Quebec! I was drawn to this company due to their commitment to producing products that are cleaner and more eco-friendly. ATTITUDE make all their products in-house and have their own Canadian labs and factory. They even produce bottles on-site to reduce pollution caused by transportation and to better manage waste! ATTITUDE want complete control over their products to ensure safety and quality. They have a wide range of products from skin care, hair care, household cleaners to cosmetics. Their goal is to sell safer, cleaner and more effective products that are environmentally friendly!
ATTITUDE's Further Commitments to Environmentalism
Other environmenal commitments include the use of hydroelectricity, heat recovery, and equipment optimization to minimize their carbon footprint. This company is involved in a reforestation program that has planted over 2 million trees since 2020! Many of their products are vegan (no animal derived ingredients and no animal testing certified by PETA) and verified by the Environmental Working Group (EWG), which ensures there are no ingredients of concern.
ATTITUDE also strives to reduce waste by creating more eco-friendly packaging. They have avoided using 1000 tons of plastic since 2021. This company focuses on the 3Rs (reduce, reuse, and recycle). Many of their products have refill options. Additionally, they are part of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), which is a non-profit organization that certifies over 200 million hectares of forests worldwide. ATTITUDE uses cardboard from responsibly managed forests.
