  • Roll Up partners with Habitat for Humanity, and they donate a portion of every toilet paper roll sold to the organization.
  • They also donate to The Personal Care Bank, a Toronto-based nonprofit that provides essential hygiene products to vulnerable individuals
Roll Up 2 Ply Toilet Paper

Joanna's Quick Review

After trying bamboo toilet paper, I will NEVER go back to using traditional tree-made paper!  Did you know that over 1,000,000 acres of Canadian Boreal Forest is clear-cut annually and that much of it is used towards the creation of toilet paper?!  It’s the sad truth.  Bamboo, on the other hand, can grow up to three feet per day and can be sustainably harvested after only five years of growth.  Trees can take up to fifty years to reach maturation and disturb both land and habitat when harvested.

Knowing this information, I was keen to switch to a bamboo toilet paper instead.  That’s when I discovered ‘Roll Up’, a Canadian company based out of Toronto.  I absolutely LOVE their bamboo products, especially their toilet paper! LOL!  I will admit that I mostly use their 3-ply TP because it’s so thick and luxurious and lasts a long time.  However, their budget friendly 2-ply is also a good option!  It is soft, durable, and absorbent.  The 2-ply comes in a box of 24 rolls.  Obviously, the size of the rolls are not as big as the 3-Ply, but they are said to be double length and contain 300 sheets (x2).  I will note that a roll does not last as long as the 3-ply due to being a bit smaller in size and not as thick.

I like the fact that Roll Up’s TP is septic safe and chemical free.  It also has a compostable bamboo core.  As stated earlier, this is a plastic-free product.  The best part about it is that it can be delivered directly to your home!

Overall, I am pleased with Roll Up’s 2-ply toilet paper.  If I had a choice, I would still buy the 3-ply; however, for a more affordable option, I feel that the 2-ply is a close second.
